The following checklists nominate the sequence and timing of steps in the adjudication process for each of the situations covered by the Building And Construction Industry Security of Payment Act 1999 NSW.

Situation No 1

Where the Respondent provides a Payment Schedule for less than the amount claimed and the Claimant does not accept the Scheduled Amount

Situation No 2

Where the Respondent provides a Payment Schedule for less than the amount claimed and fails to pay the whole or any part of the scheduled amount by the due date.

Situation No 3

Where the Respondent provides a Payment Schedule for the full amount claimed but fails to pay the whole or any part of the scheduled amount by the due date.

Situation No 4

Where the Respondent does not provide a Payment Schedule and fails to pay the whole or any part of the scheduled amount by the due date.
